Are you doing what you love ? Are you in a career you thoroughly enjoy ? Do you wake up each day excited, knowing that you’ll be doing something exciting ?
Personally, I know many who do not love what they do. They are stuck in careers which do not drive them, having to wake up daily and doing that same few things they have been doing for god knows how many years. They are in jobs which do not challenge them. Jobs which they struggle to find any joy in. I’m sure you know someone who is currently in the same situation as what I’ve mentioned. They are not doing what they love.
Why aren’t they doing what they love ?
- Fear. Many people are just afraid to go for what they love to do. They are afraid that they fail or they are afraid that their peer group would be different. Their peer group mostly consist of individuals who just accept situations as it is and do not attempt to make any improvements or so. As so, they are afraid even to take any action to go try to do what they want to, so as to be able with the same group of people.
- Influence. They are influenced by individuals who aren’t doing what they love. So they just assume that since other people are living that kind of life, their life are the same too. Let me be clear to you, life is not a job ! Is an avenue for fun and growth and excitement.
